Farewell program of Johnson sir

He respected women, he respected his colleagues, he taught English in our school, he has a great sense of humor, he has a gentle and positive attitude, he is so charismatic that whenever he taught a class, the whole corridor knew that he was teaching. He is Mr. Samuel Johnson who, after 25 years of service to the institution, bade farewell to the Xavier’s family.
Our beloved Johnson sir retired from school on Monday, 30th March leaving a void which is hard to be filled. The program started with an introductory speech from Miss Amita Shami, our English teacher which was followed by presentations by Father Principal, teaching faculty, students and the ground staff. Brief speeches by Bhatnagar sir and Father Glenn followed recalling their early days with him. Next were the scintillating music performances by the Junior School teachers and the duo of Jinu sir and Sapna mam, the music teachers of the Senior School. Father John Ravi and Sujitha mam spoke their share of words when they came to the podium wishing Johnson sir good luck for his next innings of life.
Sir, you will be missed by us and we pray for your well being in the next stage of your life!
