Madhukar Malviya Music & Dance Competition

When you say Xavier’s, you don’t mean a mere school. You mean a majestic landscaping campus enlivened by its animated students and dynamic teachers. When you say Xavierite, you don’t mean a mere student. You mean a scholarly erudite, well-cultured, all-round vibrant young adult treading on the school life path to be nurtured and strengthened to move the world.
In view of the school’s high set aim of holistic development of its students, on 7th November, 2015 was organised the awaited and the enthralling madhukar Malviya Music and Dance Competition which is an Inter-House competition playing a significant role in fetching points for the respective 4 houses of the school: Reds, Greens, Blues and Golds.
The function commenced with the welcome of the Chief Guest- Rev. Fr. T.J. Jose, Principal, St. Xavier’s School, Nevta, lightning of the lamp accompanied by a spiritual prayer song. The judges for the evening were welcomed for gracing the event with their sought presence. Then, as the MOC’s for the eventful evening- Tanushree Ajmera along with her friend steered the show for the bewitched spectators, ensued the very first event- the Classical Dance. After the vibrant performances of the four houses, it was time for the next event- Solo Hindi and English Songs. The audience enjoyed the melodious symphonies of budding singers in the house.
Now it was time for the houses to showcase their united strength through the two group events- Hindi Group Song and Group Dance. The melodious group songs presented by the four houses paved the way for the scintillating Group dance performances. The Greens house electrified the evening with their locking-and-popping dance and clinched the trophy.
